Thank you very much for your interest in our Culture & Heritage Collection.
May we share a few words about the idea behind this watch:
Umakoti shows a traditional Xhosa woman with her pipe in the center.
Around it are elements of a traditional Xhosa Wedding dress with the parallel stripes and the elegant digits on 9,12,3 and 6.
The Watch showcases the elegance of modern Xhosa Culture and is supposed to empower its owners with a sense of pride in their roots, culture and heritage.
We also wanted to make a statement about the beauty and richness of South African Heritage.
The watch is totally handmade by our two south african watchmaker and about 2 full days are spent on each piece to achieve the right color tones on the metal and the final polishing of all parts.
We are using only premium specifications for this model as we wanted it to be a piece for the generations.
Our vision is to put South Africa on the Map for innovative watchmaking and build a brand that South Africa can be proud of.
